Strata Parking – What You Need to Know
Parking in a strata community can be tricky. Knowing the rules makes all the difference!
Resident spots are usually part of your lot title marked on the plan —meaning only you can use them.
Visitor parking is short-term only—and not for regular continued use by residents.
Parking in common areas, blocking access, or misusing visitor bays could lead to notices or even penalties applied by the Strata or Committee. It could also increase the risk of damages, insurance issues or difficulties for Emergency service vehicles.
Understanding the rules and adhering to them is important. Your strata manager can help.
