Tony Johnson

Tony Johnson, Strata Manager

Tony Johnson began his Career as a Strata Manager in 2003, off the back of three years’ experience in Property Management.

His qualifications include a Diploma of Property (Real Estate Agency) and a Certificate IV in Property Management. Tony’s background in customer service and managing hospitality, is where he first understood that regardless of role or position, your Customer/Client need to receive the greatest level of service possible. Tony’s focus on Client relations and communication is unwavering, as is his dedication to continued learning in an ever changing landscape. This allows Tony to provide exceptional guidance around current and long standing issues which may affect the units he manages or indeed anyone who seeks his support.

Tony has a genuine passion for this unique industry and is determined to excel with his expertise, communication and integrity. This commitment is evidenced by Tony being named the Industry’s number 1 Manager three years in a row and in 2017 receiving the award for Professional Commitment to Ethics and Services. In 2022, 2023 and 2024 he was also judged Senior Strata Manager of the year by the SCA.

Tony has completed the A100 course, Australia’s first specialised Strata management program as run by the SCA – Strata Community Association. He has been further recognised as South Australia’s first level 3 accredited (National) Strata Community Manager and remains a practicing member of the SCA (SA).

Tony is also a regular contributor to the National LookUp Strata newsletter and website. When South Australian’s reach out to the publication querying their rights, responsibilities and options, Tony is one of the contributors called upon to assist and guide these Strata Owners. Of course Tony is always happy to assist.

Tony is often seen at Strata industry functions and seminars, keeping up to date on changes in legislation and requirements to ensure compliance for Clients. He stays up to date to better serve the whole portfolio. Tony can also be seen volunteering at SCA functions and events such as the Jobs Expo. As a former board member of the SCA, Tony has a strong desire to educate and guide not only our clients but anyone interested in strata property.

Tony served on the SCA SA/NT board in 2021 & 2022 then relinquished his seat to concentrate on the business whilst still doing some volunteer work for the SCA both locally and on a National level. In 2024, Tony is returning to the SCA SA/NT board.

Tony is one of only a handful of Fellow level accredited Strata and Community Managers in SA. (FSCM)
